Contributions can be made by either credit card or PayPal through Friends of WKDU, a third-party group run by alumni DJs dedicated to financially supporting WKDU. Donations made through Friends of WKDU are not tax deductible. Tax-deductible donations can be made through Drexel University's online giving site, or via check at the below address.

As the Philadelphia area's largest free-format station that broadcasts on the FM dial, WKDU is a true champion of the Philly music scene and no event showcases our love of our city than the Electronic Music Marathon. Since 1997 we have brought the sounds and talent of DJs, musicians, producers, and more from the underground electronic scene onto the airwaves in support of not just the station, but charity causes from around the city.

Over the last 20+ years, we have raised over $75,000 for programs in the city that focus on arts in schools and marginalized communities, animal welfare, and most recently AIDS research and advocacy. This year we are seeking to raise $15,000 over the course of the 2024 Electronic Music Marathon to help fund Philly Unknown's work placement program.

Our non-commercial, award-winning college radio station is run entirely by Drexel University students and the organizers of this event are all volunteers. Contributions from individuals and companies via check by mail are tax-deductible and support student efforts to lead and manage WKDU operations. Please consider a donation today!
