Yami is a Philadelphia-based DJ who spins sparkly, dark, magical trance all over. She organizes the party series Yami's room and co-orgainizes Network Space. Based on her short documentary, she is currently directing a feature-length film capturing the Philadelphia underground rave and renegade scene, collaborating with many local artists within this community. She desires to create visibility, relatability, and inspiration for anyone feeling alone or different. @thesamebutdifferent.film She also loves to play Dance Dance Revolution and work in her nuclear physics research lab.
