Universal Cave is Shawn Ryan, Brian Hart Cassidy, Ryan Todd & Alex Tebbs Mitchell. The label originated as the result of years of collective digging, DJing and production. Known for their eccentric mixtapes, extensive record collections and discovering rare grooves, Universal Cave DJ sets include an eclectic range of music they dub Forward Deep & Free. Shawn Ryan is also one half of the duo Superprince, who have releases on Razor-N-Tape. Ryan M. Todd (Darklord Disco, Private Sea, Hounds of Hell, Darklord Chimney, one half of Robotique) is also label head of Going Home Records. Brian Hart Cassidy is a record dealer at Philadelphia Music, human potential advocate, and co-host of Higher Frequencies on Great Circles Radio. Alex Tebbs Mitchell is the other half of Private Sea and Higher Frequencies as well as the studio runner and co-founder of Great Circles.
