Sambee (Sam Van Pelt) is an artist/DJ who draws from a range of styles and influences from house and techno to ambient sounds. She is enamored by the ephemeral nature of parties and performances, and is inspired by club cultures of past and present. She strives to DJ in conversation with dancers and listeners, and transport them to a contradictory space in between presentness and nostalgia.
