At the intersection of queer, Quechuan and the internet, miipmiip approaches mixing through contrast and bass weight. Their selections can blend global club with, well, anything - from an array of high energy techno descendants (footwork, PC music, baile funk, gqom, latincore) to introspective ambient, Detroit house, and more. Equally at home holding long, groove-driven nights or pushing high-energy club moments, they like adapting to a room & holding an emotional throughline. Their sets have taken them from Japan to Colombia, with radio appearances on WKDU 91.7FM and Great Circles Radio, and support slots for Dinamarca, Meth Math, Precolombian, EmileFortunes, and DJ Re:Code. They are an organizer with VOLTAGE and limited2, party collectives in Philadelphia that merge experimental club with capital-q Queer rave scenes & alternative, edge-laden drag.
