Emerging from Philadelphia’s underground is multifaceted artist & producer G I N A. Gina’s work defies convention, waxing on classic rave disciples introducing a progressive & mechanical futuristic edge in her sound.
Getting her footing as an open format DJ under the moniker Wassup Gina, she quickly took hold of the Philadelphia dance community. Her agility and innate awareness of trends after dark led her to become the booker of iconic dance dives, The Barbary and The Dolphin. With this platform she hosted her own scene sculpting events,carving out community spaces with her own subversive music enclaves. Livening up mundane club nights with acid lines, electro, and techno to hungry ravers,she moved forward claiming multiple DJ residencies at local clubs and warehouse events.
