DJ has been in the music since the early 90s. Working as a DJ in his teens, he always had a passion for house music. He became a resident at Space Nightclub in 1998 and shared the stage with countless DJ icons, while also sharing his music with partygoers up and down the east coast. In the 2000's he threw some major parties featuring artists he was adamant about sharing with the city of Philadelphia... like Barbara Tucker (Deep Inside), Kevin Hedge (Blaze), DJ Pierre (Acid House Creator), Todd Edwards (UK Garage Creator), Jazzy Joyce (Digable Planets), Glenn Underground, Ron Carroll, Junior Sanchez, Stacy Kidd, and more. He's played the occasional shin-dig from time to time over the years for many lucky listeners and dancers. For the last 5 years Freedom and DJ Rob have held down the underground and aired their show "Real House" on our beloved WKDU where they feature DJs from Philly and around the world! Tune in Saturdays from 6-8pm and STAY tuned for more great music, dj sets, appearances, and funky things to come from DJ Freedom!
