Carl Michaels (founder of production duo Persons Of Interest) made his dad really mad and spent thousands of dollars on dj equipment in his senior year of high school. He started playing records at house parties to learn how to mix, and he fell in love with the rave scene. From there, Carl started touring the country with a pack of weirdos, playing arenas and nightclubs. He’s been rocking Philly with bleepy funky Chicago style house music for almost three decades.
